  1. Degree or at least a relevant Diploma in Finance / Accounting 
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience with donor funded organisation with strong financial systems, controls and procedures
  3. Understanding of NGO sector and financial management of donor funds
  4. High level computer literacy skills, especially in Excel. Experience in Sage beneficial
  5. Excellent analytical, report writing and general communication skills
  6. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, both individually and in a team
  7. Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required.
  2. Grants experience, preferably with international donor-funded organization  For a candidate with a master’s degree 6 years of professional work experience is required, for a candidate with a bachelor’s degree 8 years of relevant technical experience is required. 
  3. Supervisory experience is a plus.
  4. Familiarity with USAID rules and regulations strongly desired.
  5. An extremely well organized and self-directed individual with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus.
  6. Ability to solve complex technical, managerial, or operational problems and evaluation options based on relevant information.
  7. Strong communication skills (written and oral) in English are essential.
  8. Legally entitled to work in South Africa.

Program Manager (AYP program)
  1. Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline: public health/education /social sciences or relevant field.
  2. At least 5-10 years’ experience in HIV and AIDS programming, with a specific focus on AYP or adolescent and youth-friendly services (AYFS).
  3. At least 5 years or more experience in project management and supervision
  4. Demonstrated experience in AYP program planning and implementation. Program management experience in Global Fund, PEPFAR or other AYP projects is preferred.
  5. In-depth understanding of government social development, health and basic educations systems; KwaZulu – Natal Province-specific experience would be an added advantage.
  6. Experience in relevant technical fields (education, public health, community development etc.)
  7. Proven track record in coaching project implementation teams for successful execution of projects
  8. Highly developed communication and group facilitation skills, including ability to deliver compelling presentations and facilitate learning
  9. Experience managing highly risky projects/ grants with minimal supervision
  10. Experience in managing AYP related grants-desirable
  11. Should have experience in working with youth programmes or demonstrate knowledge of youth challenges for him/her to be able to provide guidance to the field officer
