Operational Manager (General Unit) Matric or equivalent. Basic R425 qualification (diploma/ degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse. Current registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse. Have a minimum of 7 years appropriate / recognizable experience in nursing as a Professional Nurse. The following will be an added advantage: Nursing Administration qualification and computer literacy. 10 June 2024
Deputy Manager Nursing Basic R425 qualification, i.e. Diploma/ Degree in nursing that allows registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse. Degree/Diploma in Nursing Management. A minimum of 9 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing and 4 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate/recognizable experience at management level. Basic Research Knowledge is an added advantage. Knowledge, skills, training and competencies required: Knowledge of relevant legislative framework governing the public service. Demonstrate an in depth understanding of nursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing practices. Possess communication and writing skills. Good human relations. Leadership and Management skills. Problem analysis and decision-making skills. Demonstrate basic understanding of Human Resource and Financial policies and practices. Demonstrate computer literacy as a support tool to enhance service delivery. Ability to plan and organize own work, time and that of support personnel to ensure proper implementation of Health Programmes in the District. Medical Officers (Family Medicine)
Degree (MBBCH) and currently registered with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a medical practitioner. Experience Gr 1: None after registration with the HPCSA as a medical Practitioner. Gr 2: A minimum of 5 years appropriate experience as a Medical Officer after registration with the HPCSA and Gr 3: A minimum of 10 years appropriate experience as Medical Officer after registration with the HPCSA. Experience working in district primary health care (PHC)services and in general medical practice mental health care will be an added advantage. Good professional attitude/conduct, good communication skills, good professional ethics, teamwork ability, good medical record keeping. Willingness to work/participate in outreach programs in any PHC facility in the district health services. Provide commuted overtime as per roster 07 June 2024
Operational Manager Nursing Grade12, Basic qualifications accredited with the SANC in terms of Government notice R425 (i.e., Diploma/Degree in nursing or equivalent qualification that allows registration with SANC as professional nurse The incumbent must be in the possession of evidence of Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a professional nurse, A minimum of 7 years appropriate / recognizable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with SANC, at least 3 years of the period referred to the above must be appropriate/recognizable experience in an accident and emergency unit and post basic Nursing administration will be an added advantage. Basic computer literacy is essential. COMPETENCIES: Leadership, ward management/ward administration, planning, organizing coordination and communication skills. Ability to take charge and make appropriate independent decisions. Display empathy for patients, promoting. advocacy and facilitating holistic treatment and care. Clinical Psychologist
Master’s degree in clinical psychology. Current registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Clinical Psychologist Independent Practice. Grade 1: Must have completed an internship and community service at an accredited facility. For foreign qualified applicants, whom it is not required to perform community service as required in South Africa, applicants must have at least one (1) year experience after registration as a Clinical Psychologist. Experience in community psychiatry will be an added advantage. Grade 2: Five (5) years actual service and recognisable experience as a Clinical Psychologist. Grade 3: Eight (8) years actual service and recognisable experience as a clinical psychologist. A valid driver’s license and basic computer literacy will be an added advantage. Knowledge of legislation applicable to mental health and clinical psychology e.g., Health Professions Act, 56 of 1974, Children’s Act 38 of 2005, Mental Health Care Act, 17 of 2002, and National Health Act, 61 of 2003. Having experience in community psychiatry will be an added advantage. 07 June 2024
Operational Manager Nursing A Basic R425 qualification (i.e. diploma/ degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as Professional Nurse. Registration with the SANC as Professional Nurse. A post-basic nursing qualification with duration of at least 01 year, accredited with SANC in the specialty relevant to PHC setting. A minimum of 09 years appropriate/ recognizable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing. At least 5 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate/ recognizable experience in the PHC setting after obtaining the 1 year post basic qualification in the relevant specialty. 2 years’ experience at management / supervisory level will be an added advantage. Other skills/requirement: Financial management and human resource management; leadership, decision making and problem-solving skills; Sound knowledge of public service policies, Code of Conduct, Team building and Policy formulation Computer literacy and Drivers License. 07 June 2024
Cleaner / Household Worker Level 2
A Minimum of Grade 10 (authentic School report) or Relevant NQF level 2 or ABET Level 4. Able to read and write. Working experience in the public service or in cleaning environment will be an added advantage. Good interpersonal relations, Ability to work in a team. Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles; Patients’ Rights and 6 ministerial priorities. Be Prepared to work flexi hours, shifts (night, weekends, and public holidays). Medical Officer Post (Family Medicine)
Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Officer. Grade 2: Appropriate qualification that allows for registration with the HPCSA as Medical Officer. Registration with the HPCSA as Medical Officer. A minimum of 5 years’ appropriate experience as Medical Officer after registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner. Grade 3: Appropriate qualification that allows for registration with the HPCSA as Medical Officer. Registration with the HPCSA as Medical Officer. A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate experience as Medical Officer after registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner. IMPORTANT. Previous experience in Family Medicine, Psychiatry, Emergency medicine, Anaesthesiology and HIV-medicine as well as valid certificates in ACLS/PALS/ATLS or other similar certificates will be to your advantage. Any additional qualification like Diploma in Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine and HIV Medicine will be an added advantage. Administration Clerk (Secretary)
Requirements: Grade 12 / NQF Level 4. Office management or any secretarial Qualification, as well as relevant experience will be added advantages. Skills: Organizational skills and time management skills. Good communication and writing skills, minute taking, records management, interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, professional etiquette, time management, computer skills and working knowledge of the Microsoft package (MS office 365 i.e., Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms Outlook, Ms PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams), etc. Also, the ability to maintain confidentiality.
